Our annual Summer Board Game Festival kicks off this weekend, bringing nine days of themed tabletop adventures to Purple Dragon Games! Special Note: During the festival, Purple Dragon Games will also be OPEN Wednesday, July 8 from Noon-8:00 PM so everyone has another opportunity to join the fun.
What is the Summer Board Game Festival?
Every festival day features a new board game theme with a fresh lineup of games already set up and ready to play. There's nothing to learn beforehand. Simply grab a seat and our friendly Game Masters will teach the rules, guide the experience, and help you jump right into the action. From psychological thrillers and survival games to fantasy adventures, social deduction, hidden traitors, and cooperative quests, every day offers a completely new experience. Best of all, every event is FREE to attend, and everyone receives candy prizes!

Our opening Summer Camp theme celebrates the fun side of mystery, suspense, and clever deception through a collection of games that challenge your instincts, creativity, and ability to read the people around you. Whether you're uncovering outrageous bluffs in Sounds Fishy, decoding hidden clues with teammates in Codenames, or inventing hilarious products to outwit the competition in Snake Oil, every game encourages laughter, conversation, and unexpected twists.
No experience is necessary. Our Game Masters will have every game set up and ready to play, making it easy for newcomers and longtime gamers alike to jump into the fun. Our Treasures & Treachery theme invites players into a world of daring adventures, secret plots, and clever deception through a collection of games filled with suspense and unforgettable moments. Track the infamous vampire across Europe in Fury of Dracula, protect your growing fortune while stealing from your rivals in Cover Your Assets, or work together to expose hidden spies in the modern classic The Resistance. Every game offers a different kind of challenge where observation, strategy, and trust are just as important as luck.

Deep within a frozen research outpost, something unknown is hunting the group. Supplies are running low, trust is becoming scarce, and every decision could mean the difference between making it home... or becoming part of the mystery.
Our Summer Survival theme challenges players to think quickly, negotiate wisely, and outlast the unexpected through an exciting mix of strategy, deduction, and creativity. Face paranoia and hidden dangers in The Thing, where no one can be completely trusted. Bluff, bargain, and protect your cargo while traveling dangerous roads in Sheriff of Nottingham, or invent outrageous products and convince everyone you're the one worth believing in during the hilarious party game Snake Oil. Every table offers a different kind of survival challenge.
