Join the Tabletop Guild for an evening of bluffing, bargaining, suspicion, and quick thinking as we explore three games where success depends on reading the people around you. Whether you're uncovering hidden threats, sneaking contraband past the law, or convincing everyone that your outrageous invention is exactly what they need, every conversation could change the outcome. Summer Survival is all about adaptability. Sometimes the truth keeps you alive. Sometimes a convincing story does.

The Thing

An isolated research station. Limited resources. A hidden threat among the group. Based on the legendary science-fiction horror story, The Thing places players in a desperate struggle for survival where trust becomes increasingly difficult. As supplies run low and tensions rise, players must work together to complete objectives while constantly questioning who may no longer be human. Some players are exactly who they claim to be. Others are not. Every decision matters as alliances form, suspicions grow, and the line between friend and enemy becomes increasingly difficult to see. The Thing creates an unforgettable atmosphere of tension, deduction, and dramatic reveals.

Sheriff of Nottingham

The market is open, and business is booming. The only problem is that not everyone is following the rules. In Sheriff of Nottingham, players take turns attempting to bring goods into the city while one player serves as the Sheriff. Merchants declare what they are carrying, but whether they are telling the truth is another matter entirely. Will you smuggle valuable contraband? Will you convince the Sheriff to trust you? Or will you offer a bribe and hope nobody asks too many questions? Filled with negotiation, bluffing, and laughter, Sheriff of Nottingham rewards players who know when to tell the truth and when to take a risk.

Snake Oil

What would you sell a pirate who needs a better toothbrush? Or a wizard who wants to impress a dragon? In Snake Oil, players receive random word cards and must combine them to invent ridiculous products for unusual customers. Once the invention is complete, the real challenge begins: convincing everyone that your creation is the one they absolutely need. Creativity, quick thinking, and persuasion take center stage as players pitch increasingly outrageous ideas to one another. No two rounds are ever the same, and some of the funniest moments come from inventions nobody saw coming. Snake Oil is easy to learn, endlessly replayable, and perfect for players who enjoy laughter and improvisation.
