What is Axis & Allies?
Axis & Allies is a classic strategy board game that plunges players into the global conflict of World War II. Designed by Larry Harris and originally released in 1981, the game simulates the economic and military decisions of the major powers during the war. Players take control of nations like the United States, Germany, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, Italy, or Japan, building armies, managing resources, and forming shifting alliances to try to dominate the world.
Why the Anniversary Edition?
The 50th Anniversary Edition is the crown jewel of the Axis & Allies series. Released to commemorate the game's legacy, this deluxe version adds new depth and dimension:
Six playable powers instead of five – Italy is now a full-fledged nation!
A massive 24” x 46” game board featuring an expanded map with more territories and sea zones.
Revised rules for enhanced strategy, including new units and combat options.
Support for 2 to 6 players, with team play that truly captures the scope of a global conflict.
One Epic Game, Two Evenings
This won't be your average game night. We’ll be dividing this epic game over two days to do justice to the scale and story of the war. It's a full-scale strategic experience that demands wit, teamwork, and endurance!
🎟️ Entry: To play on June 5 & 6 you must be part of the May 29th player draft or received prior approval, then you're locked in for battle. Otherwise, you’re absolutely welcome to come watch, cheer, and participate from the sidelines! Spectators can pull up a chair, choose a team to root for, and even help with commentary or minor in-game support roles.
This is more than a game – it’s a living, breathing re-enactment of WWII strategy, and a party for gamers and history buffs alike.
