Bring your deck and your Trainer spirit to Pokémon Showdown Night at Purple Dragon Games! Each Showdown features a different Pokémon and its own special theme, giving our community a fresh reason to gather, battle, and celebrate the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Enjoy an evening of friendly competition where you can put your strategies into action, meet other Pokémon fans, and share the excitement of a well-played match.

Showdown Night welcomes both new players and seasoned Trainers. If you’re still learning, you’ll find a friendly community ready to help you understand the flow of play, answer questions, and build confidence at the table. Experienced players can enjoy testing their decks, meeting new opponents, and sharing what they’ve learned. We want every player to feel comfortable asking questions, celebrating their progress, and enjoying a good battle together. Good sportsmanship and encouragement are part of what makes our Pokémon community special.

Players should bring their own Pokémon TCG decks, ready to play against fellow Trainers. Our game leader will guide the evening’s activities and explain what players need to know before the battles begin. Each event offers opportunities to learn something new about your deck, discover creative strategies, and make friends who are just as excited about Pokémon as you are.

Entry is $10 per player and includes free pizza and prize packs, with additional prize support available during the event. Take a break between battles, enjoy a slice, and get to know the people across the table! All players must have a Play! Pokémon account and complete registration to participate. New to organized play? We can help you set up your account and get registered. Please arrive early if you need assistance so we can help you get ready before play begins.
