A Draft is one of Magic’s most exciting and accessible formats — perfect for longtime players and newcomers alike. Here’s how it works:

• Each player gets three booster packs.

• Open one pack, pick a card, and pass the rest to the next player.

• Keep going until all cards are chosen.

• Repeat for packs two and three.

• Build your 40-card deck using just your drafted cards (and basic lands, which we’ll provide).

• Then jump into matches with your brand-new deck!

It’s fair, fast, and every draft is different. You don’t need to bring a thing — just your love of Magic and a readiness to play!
